Sister!

I am a big brother!!

My little sister, Eliza Sue, was born on Friday, September 3rd. I am very interested in her, but not sure what I think entirely. I like to put things into her pack-n-play for her to play with, and want to be wherever she is, but don't understand why Mom and Dad always have to hold her and why she cries so much!

When I visited her in the hospital, I gave her a hug, but wanted to play with the balloons more! They are fun!

At home, we have a good time. My grandparents love to take pictures of both of us! I hope you enjoy them!

I'm A Big Boy Now

I'm 2 years old today!

Last weekend we had a party in my backyard and so many of my friends came! We had a pool in the back and had yummy cupcakes. Luckily the heatwave from the week before broke and it was a very nice afternoon!

I was very spoiled by everyone who attended and my parents are still trying to figure out where to put all my new toys! I got lots of turtle themed presents (to go with my new room) and there seemed to be a car theme as well! My favorite toy at the moment is my new Fisher Price cash register - it make so many cool sounds and it is fun to work!

This weekend, we went up to Wilmington, DE to visit my cousins Kristen and Morgan. They have a cute puppy named Bailey who I had a good time with. On Saturday, we spent the day with Ms. Rachel and Noah. It was great to finally meet them. We played in the pool at Noah's grandparents' house and then ran around inside playing with cars and Sesame Street toys!

I woke up this morning to mom singing a Beatles song "Birthday!"
I love the Beatles (just in case you didn't know). My favorite song is "Oh Bla Di" but I liked this one too. When we got downstairs, there was a present for me! A new bike and helmet. It am still a little too small to ride my bike, but it will be perfect this fall!

Today, we went out to lunch at Jason's with the church crew. I got to see my grandma and grandpa again today and we had ice cream cake after dinner. What a great birthday!

Springing into Summer!

Wow, my mom is really bad at this blog thing! She appologizes for her lack of updates over the past months. I have been so busy and hope to share everything with you!

I started walking in February after the major blizzard. I loved having my mom and dadhome for a whole week! We went sledding and played in the snowa lot! I went to NYC to visit my cousins (and meet the newest one - Ronni) and had to learn how to keep up with Jojo and Cecie. I am now a pro at walking - see if you can catch me!!

My mom told everyone in late February that I am going to be a big brother. I am not sure I completely understand what that means yet, but apparently I have a baby sister on the way. I have learned how to sign "baby" and like to show off my mom's tummy to everyone! I have moved to a new room - which I absolutely loved! Justin came over and painted a mural again - dude! It is really cool.

On May 5th, I celebrated one year from my successful heart surgery. I know my family can't believe it has been a year - for me, it never seemed to slow me down.

I went to my first Baysox game of the season in late May - and acutally paid attention to some of the game! I enjoyed meeting Louie (and even shook his hand) but the highlight of the event was going on the carousel. I could have spent my entire afternoon on it. I rode the horses with my mom and Mama-Welsh, and the monkey with my dad!

Over father's day, we went to the beach with my Mama Welsh, Grandaddy Allen and my aunts, uncles and cousins. We could only stay for the weekend, but I loved being in Rehobeth. I wasn't so sure about the sand thing, but absolutely loved running after the waves and wanted to go in as far as mom and dad would let me! Once Jojo and her family arrived, we went to Funland to play on the rides. It was a lot of fun - and they had a carousel!!

We spent the 4th of July in Laurel with Mama Welsh. There is a parade outside her house each year and it was so much fun! My cousin Payton came over with her parents to hang out. And a photographer from The Laurel Leader came and took our pictures. Mine ended up in the paper the next week!

This summer has proved to be the hottest ever so I have spent a lot of time in the pool and doing water play. I love to create puddles and then stomp in them. As well as splashing in any type of water (especially Ella's water dish!). I go to the pool with my Grandma Drumm nearly every day and we have a blast!

It is getting close to my birthday and mom says she will do a post all about that. So for now, bye-bye!
