Sister!

I am a big brother!!

My little sister, Eliza Sue, was born on Friday, September 3rd. I am very interested in her, but not sure what I think entirely. I like to put things into her pack-n-play for her to play with, and want to be wherever she is, but don't understand why Mom and Dad always have to hold her and why she cries so much!

When I visited her in the hospital, I gave her a hug, but wanted to play with the balloons more! They are fun!

At home, we have a good time. My grandparents love to take pictures of both of us! I hope you enjoy them!

I'm A Big Boy Now

I'm 2 years old today!

Last weekend we had a party in my backyard and so many of my friends came! We had a pool in the back and had yummy cupcakes. Luckily the heatwave from the week before broke and it was a very nice afternoon!

I was very spoiled by everyone who attended and my parents are still trying to figure out where to put all my new toys! I got lots of turtle themed presents (to go with my new room) and there seemed to be a car theme as well! My favorite toy at the moment is my new Fisher Price cash register - it make so many cool sounds and it is fun to work!

This weekend, we went up to Wilmington, DE to visit my cousins Kristen and Morgan. They have a cute puppy named Bailey who I had a good time with. On Saturday, we spent the day with Ms. Rachel and Noah. It was great to finally meet them. We played in the pool at Noah's grandparents' house and then ran around inside playing with cars and Sesame Street toys!

I woke up this morning to mom singing a Beatles song "Birthday!"
I love the Beatles (just in case you didn't know). My favorite song is "Oh Bla Di" but I liked this one too. When we got downstairs, there was a present for me! A new bike and helmet. It am still a little too small to ride my bike, but it will be perfect this fall!

Today, we went out to lunch at Jason's with the church crew. I got to see my grandma and grandpa again today and we had ice cream cake after dinner. What a great birthday!

Springing into Summer!

Wow, my mom is really bad at this blog thing! She appologizes for her lack of updates over the past months. I have been so busy and hope to share everything with you!

I started walking in February after the major blizzard. I loved having my mom and dadhome for a whole week! We went sledding and played in the snowa lot! I went to NYC to visit my cousins (and meet the newest one - Ronni) and had to learn how to keep up with Jojo and Cecie. I am now a pro at walking - see if you can catch me!!

My mom told everyone in late February that I am going to be a big brother. I am not sure I completely understand what that means yet, but apparently I have a baby sister on the way. I have learned how to sign "baby" and like to show off my mom's tummy to everyone! I have moved to a new room - which I absolutely loved! Justin came over and painted a mural again - dude! It is really cool.

On May 5th, I celebrated one year from my successful heart surgery. I know my family can't believe it has been a year - for me, it never seemed to slow me down.

I went to my first Baysox game of the season in late May - and acutally paid attention to some of the game! I enjoyed meeting Louie (and even shook his hand) but the highlight of the event was going on the carousel. I could have spent my entire afternoon on it. I rode the horses with my mom and Mama-Welsh, and the monkey with my dad!

Over father's day, we went to the beach with my Mama Welsh, Grandaddy Allen and my aunts, uncles and cousins. We could only stay for the weekend, but I loved being in Rehobeth. I wasn't so sure about the sand thing, but absolutely loved running after the waves and wanted to go in as far as mom and dad would let me! Once Jojo and her family arrived, we went to Funland to play on the rides. It was a lot of fun - and they had a carousel!!

We spent the 4th of July in Laurel with Mama Welsh. There is a parade outside her house each year and it was so much fun! My cousin Payton came over with her parents to hang out. And a photographer from The Laurel Leader came and took our pictures. Mine ended up in the paper the next week!

This summer has proved to be the hottest ever so I have spent a lot of time in the pool and doing water play. I love to create puddles and then stomp in them. As well as splashing in any type of water (especially Ella's water dish!). I go to the pool with my Grandma Drumm nearly every day and we have a blast!

It is getting close to my birthday and mom says she will do a post all about that. So for now, bye-bye!

Catching Up

My mom has been really lax in updating my blog. I tried to do it myself, but for some reason, mom didn't want me using her computer. I don't get it!

I have been very busy over the past couple of months. On November 21st, my Uncle Christian married Aunt Angela. It was a great celebration - and even though I didn't get to stay for the whole reception, I ate lots of bruchetta and was the life of the party!

My Uncle Ivan, Aunt Andy, cousin Jojo, Uncle Joel and Grandp
a came to Laurel for Thanksgiving. We had a great time. Josephine liked pushing me around on the car at my Mama Welsh's house. - Man was the food great! I especially lov
ed the cranberry sauce and the mashed potatoes. After dinner, Jojo and I helped clean up!

We had our first winter snow in early December. I loved watching the flakes come down and trying to figure out what it was.
Mom dressed me up warmly and we got to go play!

On December 6th we celebrated my friend Sophie's 1st birthday. She actually turns 1 the day after Christmas, but she will be in Florida, so her parents had her party early. I love going to parties - lots of good food and SUGAR!! I got to visit with so many friends. And Sophie and I had a good time at the end of the evening playing with ribbons on her gifts!

We had a HUGE snow storm on December 18th and 19th. Mom was sad because they had to postpone her student's production of Mulan - but we had a lot of fun. Even though I was sick, I got to go sledding. it was a ton of fun!

We have been prepping for Christmas. Mom and Dad put a tree up in our house - and decorated it very strange. I don't understand it at all. But it is very pretty and I love all the ornaments hanging from the low branches. For some reason all of them are plastic or nice to chew on! Mom has been doing a lot of shopping. She keeps talking about presents for me! I can't wait for Christmas. We get to go to a pagent at Mama Welsh's church on Christmas Eve and then I get to see Uncle Jamie, Aunt Anne, Cecie, Uncle Joel, Grandpa, Mama Welsh, Grandma and Grandpa Drumm, Uncle Christian and Aunt Angela!!

Aloha!

In late September I traveled with my family to Hawaii. It was a LONG flight, but worth it. I got to sleep and play with everyone on the plane.

The island of Ohau is beautiful! I was there with my mom and dad, my Yaya and Daya (Grandma and Grandpa Drumm), Uncle Christian and Aunt Angela. It was a lot of fun getting to spend time with them all week. Uncle Christian had fun making towers for me to knock down. Have you seen my cool way of getting around?

Mom and Dad seemed to really like seeing the sites and the sunsets. I don't know - I was much more interested in checking out the sand. What do you mean you aren't supposed to eat it?

I got to go swimming every day. I wasn't so sure about the ocean, but I loved the pool! There were these cool steps that I could walk down and then loved to kick in the water!

Wedding in ME!

Last week we traveled to Maine for my Aunt Anne and Uncle Jamie's wedding. Instead of driving, like the rest of our vacations, we flew in an airplane! It was so much fun! I think mom and dad were hoping that I would sleep on the trip, but there was too much to look at! Watching out the window while we took off was my favorite! But I also loved walking up and down the aisles, saying hello to everyone! I did finally fall asleep with about 20 minutes to go!

Maine is a really beautiful place. The wedding was held at a house in Bar Harbor on Mount Desert Island. My dad took some really great pics of the wedding location that you can see on Flicker. We went hiking in Acadia National Park with Uncle Jamie and Cecilia. And I got to try fish and chips for the first time. I LOVED them. Especially the sweet potato fries. My favorite vegetable in fry form, what's not to love?

I had a great time visiting with cousins Jojo and Cecilia and their friends Jacob and Maddie. They taught me a bunch of new things. I have developed my own version of crawling. Mom calls it scooting. It helps to keep up with my friends. Mom says she will post a video soon!

I got to get dressed up with my uncles for the wedding. I had a really snazzy outfit. I loved hamming it up for the camera!

Gym Play Date!

On Friday I went to My Gym with my friend Sophie. She takes classes there every week and I got to go as her guest. We had a great time playing with all the equipment.

I especially enjoyed playing in the ball pit. Aunt Veronika thinks I should come every week - maybe it could take the place of my PT! I would LOVE that!

After our class, we went to Baja Fresh for lunch. It was yummy!
